Today, I’d like to pay tribute to Wally Funk, one of the early pioneers in flight and one of the first women to train with NASA. She didn’t get to be an official astronaut in the end, but she could fly just about anything, trained thousands at her own flight school, and much more. This one’s for my U.S. readers.

It seems there is no shortage of people lining up to tell you to vote, like it’s cleaning your room or something. It’s true that voting is important, but the way I see things, voting is closer to deciding you want ice cream and then getting it, like a kick-ass adult in charge of their own destiny.

That’s who I want to be.

Not sure how or where to vote? These sites have details, like the fact that the Pennsylvania voter registration deadline is October 21, 2024. Just fyi!
